The Master's degree programme Information Management explores selected areas of the Bachelor's degree programme in greater depth and offers additional opportunities for individual specialisation. Students reinforce their business expertise within the focus area Business Administration, and expand their knowledge in one of the specialisations from the fields of Informatics, Information Systems, and Information Management. In doing so, special emphasis is placed on coupling business administration expertise and information technology know-how. The degree programme aims to convey the knowledge required in order to manage computerized information systems in businesses and inter-company networks, both in terms of business administration and in terms of information technology. A compulsory practical placement and lecturers from the industry rond off the practice-oriented profile of the degree programme.

If desired and following consultation with the competent supervisor, the Master thesis can be written in English.
